PARK(ing) Day is too much fun to have but once a year! This is why Brisbane Festival 2009 will be welcoming the ten ‘best of’ parks to West End… LIVE on Saturday 3 October. The closing event for the Festival’s free Across Brisbane programme, West End… LIVE features all manner of gigs, installations and good times, highlighting the unique communities that make this inner-city ‘burb one of Brisbane’s most intriguing West End..LIVE celebrates public space but closing Boundary St to all traffic and converting it into a giant community space. 10 of Brisbane's favourite PARKs will feature along the street and we will also be showcasing the bigger PARK(ing) Day by sharing all your photos, films, and stories on the Retravision screens at 191 Boundary St. Come say hello, and meet fellow PARKers in front of the store from 12-9pm See the Brisbane Festival website for full event details. http://www.brisbanefestival.com.au/Events/0,104,4646,010400906.aspx PARK Invites 09/08/2009
